“Valley Christian Schools transitioned this year to a virtual auction.  We knew this was necessary with the current state of things, however, there was anxiousness in planning an event we could not visualize.  We had the same goals and needs that we identified before the pandemic and hitting those targets seemed even more urgent.  Because of this, it was vitally important to secure the right auctioneer – one that not only knew how to work a crowd but also knew how to lead an event on camera and online.  We absolutely found her – Halie Behr.

Halie’s energy is contagious which is exactly what you want from your auctioneer.  She was a fresh face who was engaging and who, even in a virtual environment, was able to inspire an unseen audience to action.

Halie inserts herself into the action.  She was a registered bidder for our auction and participated; she even called out (in a fun way) those who were bidding against her.  She endeared herself to our audience by complimenting Duluth, the hotel where she was staying and St. Luke’s.
